Early Childhood Development
Early Childhood Development at Miami Springs Learning Center
A child’s mind is like a sponge. Children absorb almost everything they see and hear.
Understanding the basics of early childhood development is something every one of our teachers knows.
Armed with that knowledge, they make sure that the children under their care are taught the right things at the right times.
The first 5 years of a child’s mental development are considered the most important.
Children retain knowledge more quickly between the ages of 1-5, and they also develop their sense of security in this period.
In turn, they need the greatest level of affection during this time as well.
All the experiences lived at this stage will shape their character, how they see the world, and how they treat those around them.
When showered with love and attention, they will develop into self confident, successful individuals.
Since it is in these early years that children develop the behaviors that will shape who they are, how they take care of themselves, their habits, personal hygiene, and all-around emotional well-being; It is the task of their early childhood development teachers to set them in the right path.
They know how to help every child’s brain to develop its receptiveness to learning, including memory, problem solving, and reasoning, all of which are extremely important later on in life.
Children that have been given the proper guidance learn languages much faster than adults, and they can develop almost any accent in their early years.
There simply is no way to overstate just how important early childhood development is.
Our students are able to develop in a safe and nurturing environment, their emotional and physical health depends on it and we ensure that they get all of what they need.
Our teachers focus on fostering a love for knowledge in their students, and make sure that they are mentally alert and emotionally healthy. They will go a long way as they grow into adults.
